This stunning beach is one of the most beautiful in New Zealand. The waves are calm and not too aggressive which means Opito Bay is a great spot for paddleboarding. At the end of Opito Bay, there is a track of 196 steps that zigzags up to the pa site. It’s a historical site with incredible views of Mercury Bay.
